Krishna earned a Masters in Acupuncture from the Northwest Institute of
Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine in Seattle, WA and holds licensing
through the NCCAOM (L.Ac).
She
has over 10 years of experience treating a wide range of imbalance from
anxiety and womens' health to pain management and addiction. She has
had the honor of helping many women get pregnant naturally through
Traditional Chinese Medicine or in combination with IVF, and western
medical intervention. Krishna's style of needling is very gentle. Often
she treats children for such things as allergies, asthma, and digestive
issues. Along with acupuncture, she practices energy healing in the
forms of reiki, craniosacral, and vibration therapy through tuning
forks. She holds a MS in nutrition but addresses food according to TCM
(Traditional Chinese Medicine), rather than through western paradigm, helping
patients understand food as medicine. Her approach to therapy is very
unique in that she is hands on during an entire session, combining a
variety of healing modalities into each treatment.
Another motivation for Krishna to practice TCM is to assist patients in the reduction or elimination of western pharmaceutical drugs, especially those that do not even bring relief. Acupuncture has been an amazing tool in Krishna's practice treating the side effects of these drugs. It is also a means to detoxify the body once a course of drugs has ended.
Krishna says,
"My work is my art and inspiration, my ability to contribute to the greater good. My wish for all beings is to find what inspires you in
life and do it as much as possible."
